Terms of Service & Terms of Use

Welcome to Furrvi! These Terms of Service and Terms of Use (collectively, the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Furrvi AI Inc. (“Furrvi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of the Furrvi mobile app, website, and all services and content therein (collectively, the “Services”).

By using Furrvi, you accept these Terms, including our Privacy Policy, and agree to be legally bound. If you do not agree, do not use Furrvi.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Furrvi.

  • By using the app, you represent and warrant that:

    • You are 18 years of age or older;

    • You have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms;

    • All information you provide is accurate and truthful.

2. Description of Services

Furrvi is a storytelling platform and mobile application for pet owners. It enables users to:

  • Upload pet-related photos, videos, and media;

  • Use AI-powered templates to create personalized video stories;

  • Share, download, or repurpose created content.​

3. User Accounts

To access Furrvi, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information;

  • Safeguard your login credentials;

  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or suspected breaches.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

​

4. User Content

“User Content” means all media, stories, captions, audio, prompts, pet information, or other material you upload, submit, or create using the Services.

  • You retain ownership of your original content.

  • By using Furrvi, you grant us the rights described in Section 5 below.

5. License to User Content (Mutual Copyright Release)

By uploading or creating content using Furrvi, you grant Furrvi AI Inc. a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, and non-exclusive license to:

  • Use, adapt, reproduce, edit, process, publish, and display your User Content to provide and improve the Services;

  • Train and enhance AI/ML models using your content (including anonymized media, metadata, and interaction data);

  • Use your content in anonymized or aggregated form for product demonstrations, research, marketing, or promotional purposes;

  • Generate derivative works, including templates, story arcs, and AI-driven features.

You also confirm that:

  • You own or control all rights in your content or have obtained all necessary licenses and consents;

  • You acknowledge Furrvi’s full rights and ownership over all system-generated templates, curated story paths, AI models, and outputs created using the Services;

  • You will not receive compensation or royalties from Furrvi unless otherwise contractually agreed.

This license supports AI development, protects innovation, and enables Furrvi to scale responsibly.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or rights of others;

  • Upload content that is abusive, illegal, infringing, or harmful;

  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform;

  • Use automated systems to access the Services;

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Furrvi or third-party services.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

​

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including but not limited to AI models, templates, digital outputs, software code, UI/UX elements, and branding, are owned by Furrvi AI Inc. and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and IP laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of Furrvi’s intellectual property, except as explicitly provided under the license in Section 5.

8. Privacy and Data Usage

Your privacy is important to us. All collection and use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy. This includes details about:

  • What data we collect;

  • How AI training and personalization features work;

  • Where and how data is stored (AWS Canada);

  • User rights under PIPEDA, CCPA, GDPR, and other laws;

  • Compliance with Apple App Store policies, including App Tracking Transparency (ATT).

By using Furrvi, you consent to this data processing.

​

9. Payments and In-App Purchases

Currently, Furrvi may be free to use. In the future, the app may include in-app purchases, such as:

  • Subscription plans;

  • Premium templates or content;

  • Customizations or printed products.

All payments will be processed securely through Apple In-App Purchase (and Google Play Billing post-launch). Transactions are subject to Apple’s and Google’s terms. Furrvi does not store or process payment credentials.

​

10. Feedback

By providing feedback, you grant Furrvi the right to use it for product improvement and development. Feedback is voluntary and may be used without obligation of compensation.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

​

Anonymized data, model learnings, and aggregated insights already generated through your usage may be retained by Furrvi in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Section 5.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as-is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Furrvi disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including non-infringement, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of User Content;

  • AI-generated outputs;

  • Data breaches caused by user actions or third-party attacks;

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.

​​

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law.

​

13. Email Subscriptions & Unsubscribing

Furrvi uses a double opt-in process for all email subscriptions, meaning you confirm your subscription at the point of sign-up.

​

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by:

  • Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link included in every marketing email, or

  • Contacting support@furrvi.com with your request.

 

Unsubscribing will remove you from promotional communications, but you may still receive essential service-related messages (e.g., account or security notifications).

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via:

  • In-app messages;

  • Push notifications (if opted in)

  • App Store update notes;

  • Email (if provided).

​​

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

​

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts located in British Columbia.
